Shahin Seyidzade: Increase in number of vehicles in Icherisheher leads to damage to historical monuments

“Public catering facilities created many years ago by entrepreneurs in Icherisheher, the surge in the number of hotels from 40 to 200, also affect the increase in the number of vehicles, which leads to damage to historical heritage sites,” Chairman of the Board of the Icherisheher State Historical and Architectural Reserve Shahin Seyidzade said, Report informs.

“The Administration of the State Historical and Architectural Reserve always tries to maintain this balance. Icherisheher is directly subordinated to the head of state, and is under the close attention of First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva. Through various events, programs are being implemented in Icherisheher to properly maintain historical monuments, on the one hand, and to support entrepreneurs and the local community, on the other,” Seyidzade said.

According to him, despite the pandemic restrictions, mechanisms to support entrepreneurs were applied on behalf of the president.

“For our part, we also provided various benefits to entrepreneurs operating in Icherisheher. The pandemic is already coming to an end. Icherisheher is not only a venue for events, but also a place that unites the business community,” he added.
