Representatives of Saudi Arabia's top companies to visit Azerbaijan

The representatives from up to 70 of Saudi Arabia's largest companies will embark on a visit to Azerbaijan on September 30, Report informs, citing the Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Agency (AZPROMO).

The upcoming visit was a key topic of discussion during a meeting between Yusif Abdullayev, Executive Director of AZPROMO, and Essam bin Saleh Al-Jutaili, Saudi Arabia's Ambassador to Azerbaijan.

The meeting participants also touched upon the upcoming Azerbaijan-Gulf Cooperation Council Economic Forum, set to take place in Baku on September 26. Both parties emphasized the importance of intensifying relations between the business communities of the two countries.

Abdullayev proposed enhancing cooperation between business circles and implementing joint investment projects as a means to expand economic and trade relations between Azerbaijan and Saudi Arabia.

The Saudi Ambassador, in turn, praised the high level of political ties between the two countries and highlighted the ample opportunities available for furthering economic collaboration.

During the meeting, AZPROMO assured its readiness to provide the necessary support in establishing connections between Saudi companies and local entrepreneurs.
