Baku. 25 December. REPORT.AZ/ White City business centre in Baku has today hosted the opening of the representative office of the Russian Export Center (REC).
Report informs, the inauguration was attended by Azerbaijani Minister of Economy Shahin Mustafayev, Russian Economic Development Minister Maxim Oreshkin, Head of REC Group Petr Fradkov, Head of REC Representative office in Azerbaijan Nuri Guliyev.
Fradkov noted that besides being additional powerful means assisting growth of trade turnover between the two countries, opening of the REC representative office in Azerbaijan will give a new impetus to the entry of Russia's non-oil production exporters into the Azerbaijani market. Also, it will contribute to the development of bilateral cooperation between Russia and Azerbaijan.
According to him, companies with Russian capital operating in Azerbaijan made an investment of $ 500 mln.
