Retail trade turnover in Azerbaijan up by about 3%

The retail trade network sold 4.3 billion manats ($2.53 billion) worth of goods to consumers in January 2023, including 2.4 billion manats ($1.41 billion) worth of food, beverage, and tobacco wares, 1.9 billion manats ($1.12 billion) worth of nonfoods, Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.

The retail trade in real expression rose by 2.9% compared to January 2022, including 2.2% on food, beverage, and tobacco wares and 3.6% on nonfoods.
