President Rahmon: Tajikistan, Azerbaijan inked contracts worth $700M

Agreements worth $700 million were signed within the Azerbaijan-Tajikistan Business Forum held in Baku, the President of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, said in a press statement after the meeting with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in Baku, Report informs.

According to the President of Tajikistan, the business forum demonstrated that the parties have ample opportunities to develop their commercial and economic relations: "Its results will boost cooperation between the two countries, in addition to the signed bilateral documents."

Rahmon also noted that the relevant ministries and departments were instructed to prepare new approaches regarding the expansion of the nomenclature of mutually supplied goods to expand the trade circulation between Azerbaijan and Tajikistan.
