Prague hosts 5th meeting of Azerbaijan-Czechia Joint Commission

The 5th meeting of the Joint Commission on Economic, Scientific, Technical and Cultural Cooperation between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the Czech Republic was held in Prague, Report informs, citing the Ministry of Economy.

According to the information, a delegation led by the deputy minister, and co-chairman of the Joint Commission, Sahib Mammadov, visited the Czech Republic to participate in the meeting.

Before the meeting, Mammadov met with Petr Tresnak, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic.

Later, a meeting of the Joint Commission was held. The importance of expanding mutual economic relations in various directions was brought to the attention of the meeting participants. It was noted that the Joint Commission is an excellent platform in this regard. Czech companies were invited to participate in implementing projects in Azerbaijan’s liberated territories, as well as in the industrial parks of Aghdam and Araz Valley Economic Zones, Alat Free Economic Zone, and Baku International Sea Trade Port.
