It was stated in the meeting of Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov with Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade of Uzbekistan Laziz Kudratov that there are wide opportunities for strengthening the partnership between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan in trade, investment, industry, transport, and agriculture, Report informs.
According to the meeting, special importance was given to the development of bilateral relations. Thus, the visits of the heads of state, and the high-level meetings and events have promoted the quality of the strategic partnership to a new stage and the continuous development of mutually beneficial cooperation.
Laziz Kudratov stressed that the economic and trade cooperation between Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan is developing on a rising line, added that the establishment of business ties and relations between the regions of Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan will further strengthen the mutually beneficial partnership, and shared his views on the directions of expansion of economic relations.
The parties exchanged views on issues of supporting sustainable growth in trade turnover, implementing the Road Map for trade, economic and investment cooperation with Uzbekistan, promoting joint production, and collaboration in the industrial sector.
