PM approves procedure for monitoring strategically important goods in Azerbaijan

The Cabinet of Ministers has approved the monitoring procedure for strategically important goods and criteria for determining short-term sharp price changes for those goods, according to a decision signed by Prime Minister Ali Asadov, Report informs.

The monitoring of strategically important goods is carried out by the Azerbaijan State Reserves Agency.

The monitoring aims to study the situation regarding the sustainability of the country's supply of strategically important goods and to evaluate the necessity of taking measures to prevent short-term sharp price changes for those goods. The monitoring includes obtaining information about the availability and movement of strategically important goods, identifying and evaluating factors that pose threats to the sustainability of the supply of strategically important goods, and regular tracking of the volume of strategically important goods.
