The pavilion of AZCHEMCO company, representing innovative technologies in saline soil restoration and agricultural sector, has opened its doors to visitors in the Green Zone of the 29th session of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change Conference (COP29), Report informs.
The company presents its own manufactured agrochemicals and liquid fertilizers, as well as technologies for their use.
Various events will be held in the pavilion, during which the work carried out by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Azerbaijan and AZCHEMCO on the saline soil restoration project will be demonstrated, with presentations by former US Ambassador to Azerbaijan Matthew Bryza, president and founder of AZERBAZALT Rafat Aliyev, president of Greater Caspian Region Murat Seitnepesov, business development director of XP Group Adrian Staicu, and many others.
In April this year, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between JSC Creation of Landscape and Greening of Azerbaijan of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources and AZCHEMCO.
The project, which the parties conducted over six months, successfully concluded in early November and will be presented to the general public at COP29.
According to the results of the international company Intertek, the company managed to reduce the soil salinity indicator from 3.2 to 0.3, and the electrical conductivity indicator from 9140 to 291.
The company invites everyone to visit the pavilion (B18) located in the Green Zone and together take a step towards a new environmentally clean future.
