Representatives of Pakistani rice-producing companies will visit Azerbaijan in the second half of December, Yusif Abdullayev, head of the Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Agency (AZPROMO), said during the Azerbaijan-Pakistan business forum held in Baku, Report informs.
“This visit can make Pakistani rice more competitive in the Azerbaijani market. At the same time, the Azerbaijani business mission will visit Pakistan in February-March next year,” Abdullayev said.
The Azerbaijan-Pakistan business forum is being held in Baku under the joint organization of AZPROMO and Global Business Alliance. In addition to officials from both countries, more than 60 entrepreneurs operating in the industry, food, pharmaceuticals, tourism, and textile sectors are participating in the forum.
Bilateral meetings between businessmen were organized at the forum, and a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Global Business Alliance and the Pakistan-Azerbaijan Chamber of Economic Cooperation (PAKAZCHAM).
