The Zangazur Corridor will play an important role in increasing bilateral trade between Azerbaijan and Türkiye, Turkish Deputy Trade Minister Ozgur Volkan Agar said at the Azerbaijan-Türkiye Investment Forum in Baku, Report informs.
According to him, the opening of the corridor will further reduce the distance between Azerbaijan and Türkiye by 260 km: "This corridor will have a positive effect on the relations between the countries of the region. The Zangazur Corridor is a strategic project that will provide seamless movement and geographical accessibility from China to Europe. As a result, cargo transportation will increase, fast transit will be ensured, and trade volume will increase. This corridor will have a positive impact on trade in Central Asia."
