Number of taxpayers grows by 7% in Azerbaijan

As of June 1, 2023, the number of taxpayers registered in Azerbaijan was 1,452,702, 6.9% more than a year earlier, Report informs, citing the State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy.

According to the data, 87.3% of taxpayers are individuals, and 12.7% are legal entities and other organizations. Over the past year, the number of individuals increased by 6.5%, and the number of legal entities soared by 9.7%.
