Most of concessional loans for entrepreneurs directed to Azerbaijan’s agricultural sector

As part of state support for the private sector, the Entrepreneurship Development Fund, operating under the Azerbaijani Ministry of Economy, issued soft loans to 1,963 entrepreneurs for 90.2 million manats ($53.058 million), including 62.8 million manats ($36.941 million) for the implementation of 1,953 small and medium-sized projects, Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov tweeted, Report informs.

He noted that 68.8% of preferential loans were directed to the agricultural sector, 31.2% were directed to the manufacture and processing of industrial products, etc.

The minister added that districts are responsible for 83.3% and Baku settlements account for 16.7% of these loans.
