Since the beginning of 2022, 72.1 million manats ($42.4 million) have been granted to 1,732 entrepreneurs, including 53.4 million manats ($31.4 million) concessional loans for 1,725 small and medium-sized projects in Azerbaijan, Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov tweeted, Report informs.
According to Jabbarov, it was possible to open 1,690 new jobs thanks to these loans.
He noted that 71.4% of concessional loans went to the agricultural sector, 28.6% to the production and processing of various industrial products, etc.
According to the minister, 88.2% of the funds went to the regions and 11.8% to the districts of Baku.
