Mikayil Jabbarov: National Priorities define new development direction

"The document 'Azerbaijan 2030: National Priorities for Socio-Economic Development' defines new areas of development," Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov said.

Report quotes Jabbarov as saying that economic growth in the strategic period, characterized by the restoration of the country's territorial integrity, will create a solid ground for the further strengthening of Azerbaijan's power.

The document 'Azerbaijan 2030: National Priorities for Socio-Economic Development' has been approved by the decree of President Ilham Aliyev and identifies five national priorities for socio-economic development in the next decade. These are a steadily growing competitive economy, a dynamic, inclusive, and socially just society, competitive human capital, a space for modern innovation, a great return to the liberated territories, a clean environment, and a country of 'green growth.'
