Mahmoud Vaezi: Agreements signed with Azerbaijan should be implemented as soon as possible

Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Shahin Mustafayev met in Tehran with the chief of Iran's Presidential Administration Mahmoud Vaezi, Report informs citing foreign media.

Describing the historical, cultural, and ethnic partnership between Iran and Azerbaijan, Vaezi said that today the relations between the countries had reached a strategic level in all spheres.

According to him, Iran was next to the government and people of Azerbaijan in all difficult situations. Vaezi pointed out the need to implement the agreements signed between the two countries as soon as possible: "We have favorable conditions for preparing for the implementation of projects that are currently suspended due to US sanctions and mobilizing them in the interests of our nations. "

Mustafayev noted that the two countries have great potential in various fields, including energy, transport, industry, agriculture, and tourism, and they intend to evaluate it.
