KOBIA invites Latvian firms to participate in business projects in Azerbaijan's liberated lands

There are significant opportunities for business initiatives in Azerbaijan's liberated territories, stated Orkhan Mammadov, Chairman of the Board of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBIA) under the Economy Ministry of Azerbaijan, Report informs.

Mammadov made the remark at the Azerbaijan-Latvia Information and Networking Meeting held in Baku.

He stated that KOBIA is prepared to support and coordinate business projects in these territories. The chairman emphasized that business missions and meetings, particularly those held during high-level visits, demonstrate the immense potential for cooperation between countries. These interactions help identify areas for joint projects, strengthen connections, and build on previous discussions.

He also noted the importance of institutional cooperation with relevant organizations and the active efforts to enhance ties with the Latvian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Mammadov further mentioned that this cooperation includes the exchange of information and experience regarding business development tools, and the implementation of joint initiatives to establish direct connections between business communities.

The chairman invited business representatives to seize the opportunities presented, expressing KOBIA's full commitment to supporting entrepreneurial initiatives. He mentioned that KOBIA has support mechanisms in place for both local and foreign businesses.
