About ten Chinese companies have applied to establish business in the Karabakh region of Azerbaijan to date, Chairman of the Management Board of the country's Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBIA) Orkhan Mammadov said at the SCO Demonstration Zone - Logistics and Trade Promotion Conference in Azerbaijan, Report informs, Report informs.
“Chinese companies can benefit from the favorable business and investment environment created in our country. One of the main goals of KOBIA is to support the recovery of the business sector in the territory of Karabakh. KOBIA collects business projects of local and foreign entrepreneurs who want to establish a business in the liberated territories. The priority areas here are construction, tourism, mining, transport, agriculture and manufacturing,” Mammadov said.
The chairman noted that KOBIA is interested in sharing these experiences with Chinese colleagues and developing joint business support programs.
