Kamran Habibov: Investments in logistics to make Azerbaijan attractive for world's largest manufacturers

Large-scale investments in the logistics sector in Azerbaijan will help attract the world's largest manufacturers, who will build their regional warehouses there, Kamran Habibov, director of Hellmann Worldwide Logistics, said at the Azerbaijan Trade Forum on "Opportunities for SMEs, Current Situation and Challenges" in Baku, Report informs.
He noted that traditional routes in the world are currently being replaced by new ones, which also creates new opportunities for Azerbaijan. International logistics companies are showing interest in Azerbaijan as they see great potential in the country, he said.
Habibov emphasized that the logistics infrastructure in Azerbaijan is developing, and this is an opportunity to turn the country into a regional trade hub.
"It is important to implement large-scale investment projects in this area. In this case, Azerbaijan will not only become part of the transit route but will also become attractive for the world's largest manufacturers, who will build their regional warehouses here," he added.
