Georgia sees 22% growth in foreign trade turnover 

In January-September 2021, the foreign trade turnover of Georgia stood at USD 10,009.7 million, up 22.3% from the previous year, Report’s local bureau informs, citing the National Statistics Office (GeoStat).

The exports increased by 24% to USD 2,981.3 million, while the imports went up 21.6% to USD 7,028.4 million.

Consequently, a gap in the foreign trade amounted to USD 4,047.1 million, or 40.4% of total turnover.
