Georgia-Azerbaijan trade turnover up by 18%

In January-October 2022, the trade turnover between Georgia and Azerbaijan amounted to $1,057.4 million, 18.2% more than a year ago, Report informs, citing the National Statistical Office of Georgia (GeoStat).

During the reporting period, Azerbaijan ranked fifth among Georgia's trading partners.

In the first ten months of the year, the volume of Georgia's trade with other countries increased by 33.5% year-on-year and amounted to $15.2 billion.

Turkiye ranked first with a trade turnover worth $2,295.6 million, up 36.6% from a year earlier.

The following countries include Russia ($1,946.3 million, +50.2%), China ($1,528.4 million, +24.5%), Azerbaijan, and the US ($1 billion, +45.1%).
