Azerbaijan imported foods and beverages worth $96.1 million from Georgia in January–November 2023, up 14% from the previous year, Report informs, citing the National Statistics Office of Georgia (GeoStat).
According to the calculations made by Report based on the data of the GeoStat, this is a record number in at least the last 15 years.
Thus, Azerbaijan ranked 2nd among 102 countries, to which Georgia exported foods and beverages.
In the reporting period, Georgia’s total exports of food and beverages amounted to $1.1 billion, 17% more than a year earlier.
During the eleven months of 2023, Georgia exported food and beverages worth $434 million to Russia, $94.6 million to Armenia, $56.5 million to Iraq, and $56 million to Ukraine.
