First woman elected as AmCham President

Nargiz Nasrullayeva-Muduroglu is elected as the first woman President of the American Chamber of Commerce in Azerbaijan (AmCham) Azerbaijan, Report informs.

Ms. Nargiz Nasrullayeva-Muduroglu is a Harvard Kennedy School graduate with 25 years of experience in senior positions in private and public sectors. Nasrullayeva represents the Landmark Business Centre. She also served as an Advisor to the CEO of the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan, an organization with $45bln in assets under management, the key actor in maintaining the country’s macroeconomic stability working to generate wealth for present and future generations to ensure intergenerational equality and the beacon of corporate governance and transparency in Azerbaijan.

Before joining the public sector, Ms. Nasrullayeva-Muduroglu has been an Executive Director of AmCham for 11 years. These have been instrumental years in the Chamber’s development. Alongside Chamber’s Board of Directors and excellent Team, she has grown the membership from 90 companies to 300, expanded and developed member services and benefits, and initiated and driven Chamber’s policy and legislative work, making AmCham not just the formal organization but a real voice of business and a positive force in the country’s development.
