Elnur Aliyev: Transparency level of Azerbaijani economy increased significantly

As a result of the reforms carried out in Azerbaijan in recent years, the country's economy has become significantly whiter and the level of transparency has increased, First Deputy Minister of Economy Elnur Aliyev said at a conference in Baku on the topic "Constitution and Sovereignty - Development of Entrepreneurship in Azerbaijan," dedicated to the Entrepreneur's Day and the Year of Constitution and Sovereignty, Report informs.

He added that Azerbaijan constantly supports entrepreneurs through various platforms: "The number of employment contracts and tax revenues to the budget has increased significantly."

Aliyev noted that in January-March of this year, tax revenues to the state budget from the non-oil and gas sector exceeded 3.2 billion manats ($1.8 billion), which means an increase of almost 11% compared to the same period last year.
