eBay suspends deliveries to Russia, Ukraine

The American company eBay, engaged in online sales, has suspended the delivery of orders to Russia and Ukraine, the company said in e-mail correspondence, Report informs, citing TASS.

The reason for this decision is the situation around Ukraine. According to the announcement, the company has suspended "international shipping to Ukraine and Russia from March 3 to protect buyers and sellers affected by disruptions in transportation."

According to eBay, the company "suspended the collection of sales fees for users in Ukraine to alleviate the pressure caused by disruption of cash flow."

eBay Inc. is one of the world's largest American companies in the field of commerce, operating in 190 markets. According to Data Insight, eBay became the most popular export marketplace in Russia in 2021.
