Eastern Partnership Trade Helpdesk will support the development of small and medium businesses in Azerbaijan, EU Charges d'Affaires in Azerbaijan Črtomir Peter Fišinger said at the event held in connection with the launch of the EaP Trade HelpDesk in Azerbaijan.
This Helpdesk aims to promote trade in countries that are members of the EaP, he said.
According to the EU official, the platform will be presented at the EaP business forum to be held in the Czech Republic this year, and it has also been translated into Azerbaijani.
Fišinger added that the main goal is to support the development of small and medium businesses in the EaP region. Also, one of the objectives is to strengthen trade relations between the EU and the region.
Export diversification is the main issue for Azerbaijan, Fišinger said, adding that this support platform includes access to trade and access to trade information, the removal of trade barriers.
