Baku. 18 April. REPORT.AZ/ Renat Batyrov, Director General of Russian Skolkovo technopark, who is on visit to Baku on these days, intends to visit Baku Shopping Festival, organized in the capital city.
Report informs, in his interview with the festival's official website bakushopfest.com, he said that hosting of such an event is very true idea for his favorite city, Baku.
Noting that shopping festivals increase tourist flow, R.Batyrov brought Dubai and Andorra festivals as samples: "Once again, you can be sure that every dollar spent on such advertising, every funds returned to buyers as VAT, will completely return to the country. The most important aspect of the festival is sharp increase in the country's economy from tourism revenues. Because all service sector is developing - revenues of hotels, restaurants and airlines increasing".
Notably, Renat Batyrov attends the conference Open Innovations Startup Tour, organized by the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies and Russian Skolkovo Foundation in Baku.
