Azerbaijan's Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov met with a delegation headed by Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister, Minister for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories Oleksii Reznikov, Report informs referring to the Ukrainian Embassy in Baku.
The sides noted that the strategic partnership between Ukraine and Azerbaijan covers the entire spectrum of cooperation in the economic sphere:
“The exchange of experience on the reintegration and economic development of the de-occupied territories is an important prerequisite for creating additional opportunities for deepening all areas of bilateral cooperation in the long term.
Government organizations and private companies of Ukraine are ready to participate in the implementation of targeted projects to restore the infrastructure of the liberated regions of Azerbaijan. The use of all forms of business activity is aimed at creating joint ventures and industrial cooperation in all strategically important sectors of the economy in Ukraine and Azerbaijan.”
It was also noted that interaction at the intergovernmental level creates a reliable basis for the development of foreign trade operations, investment activities, the implementation of functional and sectoral projects: "The main task is to increase the quantitative indicators of trade and economic cooperation and the quality of services for the business environment in both countries.
"The creation of additional mechanisms for business cooperation in foreign economic activities between Ukraine and Azerbaijan is acquiring large-scale scopes in the activities of trading houses, business associations, and business forums. The interregional partnership is aimed at enhancing the entire spectrum of trade and economic cooperation and strengthening friendly relations between Ukraine and Azerbaijan.”
The delegation headed by Oleksii Reznikov is on a visit to Baku.
