Deputy minister: Azerbaijan signed free trade agreement with 10 countries

In order to create favorable conditions for increasing non-oil exports from Azerbaijan, free trade agreements are in force with 10 countries and a preferential trade agreement with Türkiye, Deputy Minister of Economy Elnur Aliyev said at the Customs-Business 2023 forum in Baku, organized by the State Customs Committee as part of events dedicated to the 100th anniversary of national leader Heydar Aliyev, Report informs.

He noted that according to the preferential trade agreement signed with Türkiye, a mutual preferential trade regime applies to a number of agricultural and other goods of Azerbaijani and Turkish production.

The deputy minister added that as a result of activities in this direction, the scope of the preferential trade agreement with Türkiye has been expanded.
