Date of fifth meeting of Bulgarian-Azerbaijani Intergovernmental Commission unveiled

Baku. 31 October. REPORT.AZ/ The fifth meeting of the Bulgarian-Azerbaijani Intergovernmental Commission for Economic Cooperation will take place in Sofia, Bulgaria, on 6 and 7 November, 2018, Report informs citing Bulgarian Ministry of Energy.

The Intergovernmental Commission is co-chaired by Bulgarian Energy minister Temenuzhka Petkova and Azerbaijani Minister of Agriculture Inam Kerimov.

Cooperation in not only the energy sphere but also agriculture, transport, pharmaceuticals, light and food industries, industry and others will be discussed during the meeting.

During the meeting,an agreement between the Bulgarian Agricultural Academy and the Agrarian Scientific and Information Advisory Centre of the Azerbaijan Ministry of Agriculture and a Memorandum of Understanding between the Bulgarian National Company Industrial Zones and the Azerbaijan Sumgayit Chemical Industrial Park are expected to be signed.

The parties are also expected to discuss future joint supplies of Azerbaijani natural gas from the Southern Gas Corridor via Bulgaria to other countries.
