Cost of paid services rendered to population in Azerbaijan grows by over 7%

In January-July 2024, the cost of paid services rendered to the population in Azerbaijan grew by 7.4% compared to the same period last year and reached 6.882 billion manats (just under $4.05 billion), Report inform, citing the country’s State Statistical Committee.

Legal entities accounted for nearly 5.166 billion manats (almost $3.04 billion), or 75.1% of the total cost of services.

Of the total cost of paid services, approximately 1.47 billion manats ($864.5 million) fell to the public sector, and 5.413 billion manats ($3.184 billion) to the private sector, representing an increase of 8.7% and 7%, respectively, compared to the same period last year.

Each resident of the country used various paid services worth 675.3 manats ($397.24) on average, or 59.8 manats ($35.18) more than a year earlier.
