Belarusian companies to be presented at Baku Build

The Made in Belarus exposition will be presented at the 26th Azerbaijan International Construction Exhibition - BakuBuild 2021, which will be held on October 20-22 in Baku, Report informs referring to the Belarusian Embassy in Azerbaijan.

Five companies from Belarus will take part in the exhibition, demonstrating products and services necessary for the development of the construction industry in Azerbaijan.

The Energokomplekt company will present cable products and wires of various specifications at the exhibition. The enterprises of the Belenergo Production Union - Belenergoremnaladka and Belelektromontazhnaladka - will demonstrate technologies to ensure reliable and economical operation of energy facilities, measuring equipment, automation equipment, vacuum switches and other equipment.

The OKB TSP Scientific Production Limited Liability Company will offer its own innovative technology for the construction of arched structures for objects of various purposes, developed by the specialists of the company “SpetsMashinostroenie,” which is part of the OKB TSP.

Using this technology, the company has already built 19 industrial buildings in Azerbaijan. BELGAZSTROY OJSC - HOLDING MANAGEMENT COMPANY presents services for the construction and installation of engineering and transport, as well as trunk and engineering infrastructure. The enterprise participates in the exhibition remotely.

Relations between Belarus and Azerbaijan are developing dynamically and are distinguished by a high level of mutually beneficial cooperation. At the end of 2020, the trade turnover amounted to $447.1 million. The leader of industrial cooperation between the two countries is the Ganja Automobile Plant. Since 2007, more than 12,000 Belarus tractors of various modifications and special equipment based on them have been assembled there. The assembly of electric buses and grain harvesters has been mastered.

The organizations of the construction complex of Belarus delivered products worth more than $3.5 million to Azerbaijan in the first quarter of 2021. This is 2.2 times more compared to the same period in 2020. The main items of the export of organizations of the Belarus construction industry to Azerbaijan during this period were reinforced concrete structures and metal structures, equipment and spare parts.
