Rena Mammadova has been selected as the new General Director of Azerbaijan Coca-Cola Bottlers LLC, which produces, distributes, and sells the products of Coca-Cola, the world's largest producer of soft drinks, in Azerbaijan, Report informs.
According to the organization, she took office on September 1.
Azerbaijan Coca-Cola Bottlers is part of the Coca-Cola Icecek (CCI) company, which is part of the Anatolian Group of Turkey and produces and sells Coca-Cola products in 10 countries the Middle East, Caucasus, and Central Asia. Hasan Ellialti, former head of a company in Azerbaijan, has been appointed Director-General of the Turkish office of CCI.
Ms. Rena, who has 30 years of experience in the country's food industry, has been working as a Quality Control Manager at CCI since 1996. During that time, she has been appointed to some senior positions. Since 2018, she had been Coca-Cola's Director of Procurement Systems in Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan, leading supply chain processes such as production, quality control, planning and procurement, distribution, technical support, and optimization. Rena Mammadova, one of the most successful women leaders in the Coca-Cola System, received her bachelor's and master's degrees in microbiology from Baku State University and held a Ph.D. in Biology.
