The Azerbaijani company plans to invest 9 billion rubles ($97.4 million) in the construction of three sanatoriums in the Zheleznovodsk special economic zone, head of the resort, Yevgeny Bakulin, told TASS, Report informs.
"Investors are again showing interest in the Zheleznovodsk special economic zone. An Azerbaijani investor signed a contract for three plots of land with a total area of 9 hectares. The volume of investments will be about 9 billion rubles," Bakulin said on the sidelines of the 12th Russia-Azerbaijan interregional forum held in Mineralnye Vody.
According to him, the company plans to build three sanatoriums with 600 rooms and 1200 beds: "We have already witnessed the successful implementation of Azerbaijani investments in Zheleznovodsk. It includes the first five-star sanatorium in the Zheleznovodsk special economic zone. The special economic zone in Zheleznovodsk is even better known. This means that Zheleznovodsk will continue to develop."
