Azerbaijani citizens made up 1.7% of people who visited Türkiye in January-August this year, Report informs referring to the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
Over 8 months, 557,449 people from Azerbaijan visited Türkiye, which is 14% more than in the same period last year.
In August alone, 121,114 people left Azerbaijan for Türkiye, which is 58.4% more than a year ago. The share of Azerbaijani citizens in the total tourist flow was 1.8%.
