Azerbaijan-Turkey economic cooperation discussed

Executive Director of the Center for Economic Reforms Analysis and Communication (CERAC) Vusal Gasimli met with Turkish Ambassador to Azerbaijan Cahit Bagci, Report informs, citing the Center.

According to the information, Gasimli congratulated the ambassador on his appointment and expressed confidence that his activities in Azerbaijan would further expand bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries. He thanked the brotherly Turkish state and people for their unparalleled support to Azerbaijan during the 44-day war. The meeting focused on the implementation of the Strategic Road Map, the new socio-economic development strategy, the development of the State Program for the Rehabilitation and Sustainable Development of the Liberated Territories for 2021-2025, and the Digital Transformation Concept, as well as the monitoring and evaluation of state programs.

Gasimli informed about the improvement of Azerbaijan's position in international rankings, about the Center's projects, such as AzExport.az, EnterpriseAzerbaijan.com, Digital Trade Hub, Azranking.az, and One-Stop-Shop Export Support Center in the field of economic-trade and transport-logistics of the Turkic world.

Bagci stressed the growing strategic cooperation between the two brotherly countries and the importance of the newly signed Shusha and Baku Declarations in further accelerating relations between the two countries. Highly appreciating social innovations in Azerbaijan, such as ASAN Service and DOST centers, the ambassador expressed satisfaction with the services provided in entrepreneurship development and expressed Turkey's interest in supporting cooperation with relevant agencies in this field. The issues of establishing relations between the think tanks of the Turkic world were also discussed at the meeting.
