Azerbaijan Trade House to be opened in two more cities of Kazakhstan

"Today, we are opening the first and only Trade House of Azerbaijan in Kazakhstan. In the coming months, Azerbaijan's Trade House plans to open branches in Aktau and Almaty."

Azerbaijan's Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Kazakhstan Rashad Mammadov said at the official opening of Azerbaijan's Trade House in the Kazakh capital Nur-Sultan today.

According to him, the opening of the Trade House in Nur-Sultan took place on the eve of May 28 - Independence Day of Azerbaijan.

He noted that the opening of the Azerbaijan Trade House in Kazakhstan was carried out on the instructions of the Presidents of the two countries - Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan:

"We hope that soon the geography of the country will be covered by Azerbaijani Trade Houses. Its opening is an excellent platform for establishing direct economic relations between the two countries. This will create significant opportunities for Kazakh businessmen. The Azerbaijan Trade House will provide a wide range of options for Kazakhs to have access to delicious Azerbaijani products and industrial goods. It is an important platform for further development of trade between the two countries and will create ample opportunities."

He stressed that the pandemic had delayed the plans of all countries. It has also affected the economic development of all nations. Of course, Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan are taking specific steps to expand bilateral relations during the pandemic.

The ambassador said that despite the pandemic, the volume of cargo transportation between the two countries is growing: "Billions of dollars invested in infrastructure projects contribute to the two countries' development."

In conclusion, the ambassador thanked the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan and the Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation for opening the Trade House in Kazakhstan.

At the same time, Kazakhstan's Trade House was opened in Baku today.

Azerbaijani products were presented at the Azerbaijan Trade House in Nur-Sultan.
