Azerbaijan to start implementing digital economic development strategy in 2025

Azerbaijan will implement a digital economy development strategy in 2025, Rauf Najafli, advisor to the Minister of Economy, said at the INMerge Innovation Summit organized by PASHA Holding in Baku, Report informs.

Najafli noted that the strategy, which includes 51 key initiatives, will focus on main areas such as human capital development, promotion of innovation and digitalization, and digitalization of business processes: "There is a common logic to such strategies, and we hope they will be successful. Within the framework of the strategy's implementation, research and analysis will be conducted to evaluate and ensure the sustainable development of the digital economy ecosystem. This is a priority issue for Azerbaijan. Along with our country's geographical position and human potential, state programs will provide the necessary conditions for implementing the digital economy strategy."
