Azerbaijan starts selling eggs to Sierra Leone

In January-March 2025, Azerbaijan exported 36.37 million (excluding fertilized eggs for incubation) worth $2.35 million, Report informs, citing the country's State Statistical Committee.

This is 38% less in value and 14% less in quantity than the same period in 2024.

During the specified period, Azerbaijan sold 30.22 million eggs (+2.4 times) to the United Arab Emirates for $1.83 million (+59.3%), 5.03 million eggs (there were no supplies a year ago) for $467,800 to the United States of America, and 792,000 eggs to Sierra Leone for $50,600.

This year, supplies to Sierra Leone were made for the first time in the last 14 years (official statistics on foreign trade in public use date back to 2011).
