Azerbaijan starts importing sesame oil from Slovenia

In 2023, Azerbaijan imported 2.91 tons (+33%) of sesame oil for $24,300 (+63%), Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.

In the reporting period, Azerbaijan imported 1.5 tons (+23.3%) of sesame oil from China for $9,800 (+49%), 0.4 tons (+2.2 times) from Mexico for $5,900 (+2.3 times), 0.7 tons (+91%) from Russia for $4,300 (+56%), 0.1 tons (no imports last year) from the Republic of Korea for $2,000, and 0.1 tons (+3.5 times) from India for $1,500 (+2 times).

Azerbaijan imported sesame oil from Slovenia (0.03 tons worth $400) for the first time in 13 years (official statistics on foreign trade in open use are as of 2011).
