Azerbaijan starts importing bees from Uzbekistan

In 2023, Azerbaijan imported 17,562 bees (-24%) worth $246,700 (-17%), Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.

During the reporting period, Azerbaijan imported 14,280 bees (-10%) worth $207,500 (-17%) from Türkiye, 1,482 bees (-54 %) worth $38,800 (-15%) from Israel, and 1,800 bees worth $400 from Uzbekistan.

Azerbaijan imported bees from Uzbekistan for the first time in 13 years (publicly available official statistics on foreign trade are as of 2011).
