In January-October this year, Azerbaijan exported 114,908 tons of tomatoes worth $137.1 million.
According to Report’s calculations based on the data of the State Statistics Committee, this is 5.8% more in value terms and 4.5% less in quantitative terms compared to the same period last year.
Some 111,963 tons (-3.3%) were sent to Russia for $132.6 million (4% more), to Belarus - 2,249 tons (+3 times) for $3.9 million (+7 times), to Poland - 162 tons (+2.3 times) for $239,000 (+3.6 times), to Ukraine - 294.2 tons (-80%) for $224,000 (-66.3%), to UAE - 79.9 tons (-90.8%) for $59,000 (-74.1%).
This year, for the first time in the last 11 years, deliveries were made to Lithuania and Slovakia. Some 17.2 tons of tomatoes worth $6,900 and 17.5 tons worth $6,000 were sold to these countries.
