Azerbaijan starts exporting chocolate to three more countries

According to Report’s calculations based on the data of the State Statistics Committee, this is 7.3% more in value and 5.8% less in quantitative terms than in the same period of 2021.

During the reporting period, Azerbaijan exported 3,998 tons of chocolate (+84%) worth $10.289 million (+2.3 times).

Some 585.1 tons (-29%) of products worth $1.43 million (-12%) were sent to Russia, 491.88 tons (+3.3 times) worth $1.42 million (-12%) to Saudi Arabia (+3.5 times), 436.58 tons (+32%) for $1.251 million (+53%) to Georgia, 434.98 tons (+3.4 times) for $1.113 million (+4.1 times) to UAE, 394.46 tons (+18 times) for $1.1 million (+22 times) to Turkiye.

Last year, for the first time in 11 years, deliveries were made to Bahrain, Moldova and Vietnam. Azerbaijan exported 16.68 tons of chocolate worth $53,700, 71.83 tons worth $168,870 and 27.43 tons worth $80,470 to these countries, respectively.
