Azerbaijan, South Korea mull possibilities of economic cooperation

On April 13, Finance Minister Samir Sharifov met with Lee Eun Yong, South Korea's ambassador to Azerbaijan, Report informs, citing the ministry.

At the meeting, they expressed satisfaction with the high level of Azerbaijan-Korea relations and emphasized that many Korean companies are successfully participating in agriculture, infrastructure, and other priority areas in Azerbaijan.

According to the ambassador, Azerbaijan is of great importance not only for the region due to its economic potential and geographical location but also in terms of economic cooperation and transit opportunities between Europe and Asia. He stressed that his country attaches importance to the development of relations with Azerbaijan, the interest of Korean companies in participating in projects implemented in the liberated territories, and that he will make efforts to further expand cooperation.
