From January through April 2022, Azerbaijan imported 57.69 tons of tents for $385,100, Report informs, citing the State Statistics Committee.
According to the committee, the import of tents is 47.4% less in terms of monetary value and 63.7% less in quantity compared to the same period of last year.
During the reporting period, Azerbaijan imported 39.95 tons (+21.2%) of tents for $258,670 (increased by 3.6 times compared to a year ago) from China, 15.5 tons (-49.7 %) worth $91,540 (-11,5 %) from Turkiye, 2.19 tons (+37.7 %) worth $4,230 (+32,2 %) from Iran, 0.03 tons (-2,267 times) worth $3,480 (-108 times) from Russia, 0.01 tons (no supplies a year ago) worth $70.
According to the official data, 49.4% of the 413 tons of tents brought to Azerbaijan from abroad (from 11 countries) last year came from Russia, 24.9% from China, and 17.4% from Turkiye.
