Azerbaijan's profits from plastic exports almost triples

In 2021, Azerbaijan imported $387.951 million worth of plastics and plastic products, $41.954 million (12.1%) more than in 2020, Report informs, citing the State Customs Committee.

Last year, the monetary value of Azerbaijan's plastics and plastic products exports reached $442.188 million, $277.559 million (2.7 times) more than a year ago.

During the reporting period, plastics and plastic products imports accounted for 3.31% of Azerbaijan's total imports, while their exports accounted for 1.99% of the country's total exports.
