In 2022, Azerbaijan’s export of chemical industry products increased by 57.7%, ferrous metals and their products by 17.5%, aluminum and its products by 15.4%, and tea by 35.6 %, Report informs, citing the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication.
According to the center, the statistical value of joint exports of agricultural and agro-industrial products amounted to $912.4 million. During 2022, the export of fruits and vegetables constituted 93% of the group of agricultural products. The cost of agricultural products, which occupies a significant place in the structure of non-oil and gas exports, increased by 35.4% compared to the previous year.
In December 2022, non-oil exports amounted to $303.5 million. In December 2022, food exports totaled $105.6 million and non-food products reached $197.9 million.
Last year the total exports of Azerbaijan amounted to $38.1 billion, and the export of the non-oil sector stood at $3 billion. Non-oil exports grew by 10.3% compared to the previous year.
