Azerbaijan imported 1,000 elevators and skip loaders worth $17.72 million in January–October last year, down 33%, and 27.6%, respectively, from the previous year, Report informs, citing the Statistical Committee.
According to the calculations by Report based on the data of the State Statistical Committee, this is 27.6% less in terms of value and 33% less in quantity compared to the same period of 2022.
During the reporting period, Azerbaijan purchased 746 units (+7.8%) of elevators from China worth $14.14 million (+17%), 165 units (-48%) from Türkiye worth $1.57 million (-50%), 24 units (-20%) from Slovakia worth $663,000 (-39%), 14 units (-61%) from Thailand worth $509,000 (-65%), and 11 units (-35%) from Korea worth $362,000 (-20%).
After 3 years and 3 months, Azerbaijan resumed supplies from Bulgaria (8 units worth $37,000) and Austria (3 units worth $77,120).
