Azerbaijan imported 51,024 microwave ovens, valued at $3.78 million during the first seven months of 2024, Report informs, citing the country's State Statistical Committee.
Data shows a 3.1% increase in number and a 10% surge in value compared to the same period last year.
During the reporting period, Azerbaijan imported 38,292 units (+15.7%) of microwave ovens from China worth $2.32 million (+16.1%),12,189 units (+15.5%) from Malaysia worth $1.1 million (+18%), 18 units (+4.5 times) from the US worth $132,150 (+52 times), 335 units (+2.1 times) from the UK worth $172,200 (+2.4 times), and 50 units (+29%) from Italy worth $19,860 (+62%).
After a break of 4 years and 1 month, Azerbaijan resumed the import of microwave ovens from Spain (36 units, valued at $13,400).
