Azerbaijan resumes importing coffee from seven countries 

Azerbaijan imported 313.2 tons of coffee worth $2.9 million in January-October 2022, respectively, up 15.5% and 35% from the previous year, Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.

Below are the countries from which Azerbaijan imported coffee in the reporting period:

- Italy – 81.3 tons (+55.6%) worth $1.1 million (+39%);
- Turkiye – 66.4 tons (-11%) worth $510,000 (+30%);
- Brazil – 55.4 tons (+9.2%) worth $333,000 (+40%);
- UAE – 15 tons (+44 times) worth $218,000 (+55 times);
- Russia – 26.8 tons (+13%) worth $200,000 (+57.3%).

Azerbaijan resumed importing 10 kg of coffee worth $100 from Sweden after 4 years, 10 kg worth $500 from the Czech Republic after 3 years and 7 months, 150 kg worth $1,600 from Ruanda after 3 years and 3 months, 10 kg worth $40 from Panama after 3 years, 1.3 tons worth $ 4,000 from Uganda after 2 years and 7 months, 200 kg worth $2,000 from Spain after 1 year and 10 months, and 0.4 ton worth $3,000 from Peru after 1 year and 5 months,
